Quick Answer
The ISO 27001 Certified Internal Auditor credential validates competence in auditing Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) against the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard. Internal auditors assess the design and operating effectiveness of an organisation's information security controls, identify nonconformances, and provide audit reports to senior management. Delivered by Mentor Tech as an official GAQM channel partner, the programme covers ISO 27001 requirements, risk-based audit planning, evidence gathering, nonconformity classification, and corrective action follow-up. Certified ISO 27001 Internal Auditors earn $60,000–$100,000 USD annually in GCC markets. The fully online exam carries lifetime certification validity. ISO 27001 auditors are in high demand due to mandatory data protection and cybersecurity compliance requirements across financial services, healthcare, and government in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar.
